Confitarma Italian Young Shipowners’ Association held a meeting cocktail with the Turkish Shipowners’ Association.
Tuesday, May 10th, 2023, at the cocktail held at The Bank Hotel, the Young Shipowners’ Group of the Italian Shipowners’ Association CONFITARMA and the Turkish Shipowners’ Association exchanged their ideas on current issues related to the maritime sector during the cocktail.
Our Member of the Board of Directors Mesut Cesur, who made a speech representing the Turkish Shipowners’ Association at the cocktail, stated that “Italy ranks first in exports from Turkish ports, and in this sense, a significant level of maritime transportation activities has been carried out in the Mediterranean basin in terms of maritime transportation, so it would be beneficial for both sides to be in close cooperation”. In his speech, Mr. Mesut Cesur, who announced that we will e our Young Shipowners’ Group later this year, just like in CONFITARMA, ended his speech by offering his good wishes.
Salvatore D’amico, the Chairman of the Young Shipowners’ Group, who made a speech after Mesut Cesur, stated that we should become one voice by further developing our relations, especially in the international arena, and thus it is very important to create synergy.17 Italian members of the group participated in the event, and the Turkish Shipowners’ Association accepted the invitation with 11 people.
