We analyzed the potential of integrating the technological progress achieved by the Turkish defense industry over the last 30 years into the maritime sector.
On May 5, 2026, as the Turkish Shipowners’ Association, we visited the SAHA International Defense, Aerospace and Space Industry Fair.
The purpose of our visit was to better understand how the strong progress made by the Turkish defense industry over the past 30 years can contribute to Turkish shipping and the maritime sector in general. We also exchanged ideas with relevant stakeholders during the event.
Within this scope, we visited the stands of HAVELSAN, ASFAT, STM, the Ministry of National Defense, and TAIS, and held productive meetings.
During our special meeting with HAVELSAN, we discussed digitalization, software solutions, and possible areas of cooperation.
